The Love Windermere Partnership was formed in 2022 by organisations united in their goal to improve water quality across the Windermere Catchment.
Backed by science and public feedback, the Partnership believes collaboration is key. By combining the legal powers held by some partners with expertise, and community knowledge, we can tackle pollution from all sources.
The partnership includes: Cumbria Tourism, the Environment Agency, the Lake District Foundation, the Lake District National Park Authority, The National Trust, The National Farmers Union, South Cumbria Rivers Trust, United Utilities plc, Westmorland and Furness Council and the Windermere area Parish Councils.
